How to make optimum use of the Nürnberg Card

Be at the highlights early

Places are limited on guided tours such as the deep well at the castle. So it's best to come directly at opening time.

Plan early activation

The card is valid for 48 hours from the first use - it's best to start in the morning so that you can take advantage of two full days.

Make intensive use of public transport

Travel relaxed by bus, train or streetcar between Nuremberg, Fürth and Stein. This is already included in the price.

Take advantage of additional discounts

Take advantage of the 50 percent discount, for example for the rock galleries or the Faber-Castell adventure world. This is particularly worthwhile on the second day.

Time management & route planning

Many museums and attractions are close to each other - save time by visiting them all together, for example around the Old Town.

The ticket is valid for 48 hours from the date and time specified at the time of purchase - i.e. two full days. It is not the calendar day that counts, but the exact start time.

It includes the Imperial Castle, the Albrecht Dürer House, the zoo, the Germanic National Museum, the DB Museum and the Memorium Nuremberg Trials - around 30 attractions in total. You can also reach the Playmobil FunPark in Zirndorf by public transport.

Yes, children from 6 to 11 years receive the KIDS CARD at a reduced price. Children up to the age of 5 receive the KIDS CARD free of charge - but only in conjunction with the purchase of an adult ticket. The benefits correspond to those of the regular Nürnberg Card.

No. The Nürnberg Card does not need to be activated - the validity period specified at the time of purchase is sufficient. Advance reservation is not usually necessary either. For busy attractions or special exhibitions, we recommend checking the respective website.

Yes, the Nürnberg Card is non-transferable and is only valid for the person for whom it was purchased. You may be asked for proof of identity. Cancellation after purchase is unfortunately not possible.
